We had variation of this ribbon in our last auction in the same condition and it realized over $600 in very spirited bidding. We are very happy to be able a second similar variation. This ribbon at first glance would normally be identified as the first design in Sullivan but this 8 3/4” long variation of WHH-1 cataloged as WHH1(a) in Fischer and is the “Battle of Thames” variation. In all other respects it is identical to WHH-1 and is in excellent condition. One of the best examples we have seen. Great finely detailed engravings including a ribbon held in the beak of the eagle above which has “Harrison & Tyler” Estimate: $400-500
