This is about as obscure as you can get. This not very well known person was Edward C. Wall from Wisconsin. Milwaukee City Council Member 1874-76 and a 1 term State Legislator from 1878-80. He was Wisconsin Collector Internal Revenue Service 1885-89 and was the top Lieutenant of state political boss William F. Vilas. He received 27 votes on the only ballot at that state convention. Democrat. Wisconsin Democratic state chair, 1890; candidate for Democratic nomination for President, 1904 as Wisconsin’s favorite son. There are a couple of known items for him which shows some strength. The metal item with his name and slogan is about 1 5/8” across with the small ribbon about 1 ½” with eyelet connecting both. It appears there might have been something else above the ribbon but having only seen this example and no others we are not sure what that might have been. Estimate: $65-75
